Prototype to Production

Prototype to Production in Ireland.

Prototype to Production hardens a working proof of concept or MVP: authentication, data isolation, audit, tests, CI/CD, monitoring and handover. It is for businesses of any size with a stalled proof of concept or a blocked launch. The Prototype-To-Production Assessment costs €2,450 fixed, excluding VAT, over 5 days, and ends in a fixed-price plan to production. From €9,500, excluding VAT, for the hardening work itself. We do not publish a fixed length for the hardening work.

Who it is for

Check whether this matches your business.

This page is for you if one of these sounds familiar:

  • You have a working proof of concept, and the project has stalled.
  • You have a working MVP, and the launch is blocked.
  • Something is failing in front of customers.
  • You run an established Irish business with no senior technical lead, and you have a proof of concept or MVP to harden.

If you have an AI-built or inherited codebase, the Code Health Check (€1,450) reviews it and ranks the top ten fixes by risk.

We work across Ireland, remotely first and on site by arrangement.

The problem

What you are dealing with today.

You have a working proof of concept or MVP. The project has stalled, the launch is blocked, or something is failing in front of customers. What does hardening cover? What does it cost? And how do you get a fixed price before the work starts?

We sell specific, priced pieces of work, not a transformation programme.

What we do

The work, step by step.

A founder does the work. There are two offers:

  1. The Prototype-To-Production Assessment (5 days). It covers the Code Health Check plus a review of infrastructure, operations, cost and compliance. You get a fixed-price plan to production.
  2. Prototype to Production. We harden the proof of concept or MVP: authentication, data isolation, audit, tests, CI/CD and monitoring. Then we hand it over.

Piotr Gospodarczyk, one of the two founders, leads technical delivery. Aditya Kannan, the other founder, leads client relationships and project management, so you have one accountable person who is not writing the code.

What you get

A written handover comes with every engagement.

From the Assessment:

  • the Code Health Check
  • an infrastructure, operations, cost and compliance review
  • a fixed-price plan to production

From the hardening work:

  • authentication, data isolation and audit
  • tests, CI/CD and monitoring
  • a handover

Funding fit

Grants that may pay part of this work.

There is usually no grant for this work. One Enterprise Ireland scheme may part-fund it where the project meets its conditions.

Digital Process Innovation (Enterprise Ireland). It covers "50% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum grant of €150,000". The scheme's Terms of Reference add: "The Committee may offer grant at a lower rate than the maxima above." Eligible costs include "Reasonable external consultancy costs". One of its conditions: "The project must involve some level of innovation or risk of failure and must not be focused on routine operational changes or responding to changes in regulation." Subcontracted or consultancy work can be no more than 60% of the total costs; above that, the project is ineligible. Enterprise Ireland decides eligibility. You cannot apply for less than €20,000 of eligible grant support, and you must apply before any work on the project starts. Our Digital Process Innovation guide sets out the other conditions.

We do not decide who is eligible. Each agency publishes its scheme's rules and takes questions. We never promise approval.
